Well…I am a female, but… in my vast experiences with penises over a lifetime I have seen far more above average in size than below. I would say my cross section includes a sampling of about 25–30 penises with 90% being above average. I have also encountered 2 penises that were extremely below average, one a true case of “micropenis” and several frighteningly huge members. lol
This is based on 38 years of penis samplings. lol

If we knew what “average” meant the question could be answered so much easier. Notice how the men when pinned down to a direct question are mostly keeping quiet. Put them in any locker room and it would be quite different.

Are you taking erect, or flaccid? or tumescent? For a man like me there is a big difference. About 5½ – 6 hard, but about 3½ limp, and after a bike ride or a swim in the ocean, about ¾ inch.

Alright, I’ll answer. Based on recent and accurate measurements, I am 5 and a half inches erect, although I have gotten just 5 before. It’s not much, but it gets the job done :)

The whole idea that 5–6 is “small” or 7 is “average” is pretty ridiculous if you ask me and is probably just a product of porn-watching…then again, any time someone says the “average” it’s always varied.

The average penis size is 5.5 inches, statistically. I’ve seen plenty, but I’ve only been close to three. One was about nine inches and really thick. I found that to be too big and didn’t enjoy giving him oral at all (we never had sex). The other two were about the same – 6.5 to 7ish inches with average girth. That, to me, is perfect.

I don’t know about everyone else, but the huge penis jokes don’t amuse or impress me. The guys that brag about the size of their penises tend to be the ones with the smallest ones in reality.

I honestly don’t measure myself often, and it’s been a long time since I’ve done so. Years, in fact. I have no idea whether erect penis size changes with age. The last time I checked I was 6.5 inches erect. I’ve never measured it flaccid, but it’s very short.

I’m about 7½ in. I measured it when I was entering adult hood and again was no longer a virgin, 19 for me. Haven’t bothered since. Also I don’t know if this sounds weird, but depends on how hard I am like for example if its been a while and this woman has me hot as hell, it seems bigger. @The_Idler That guy was actually correct. The length of a woman’s vagina is about 3–4”. Anything extra is a bonus (or a waste, depending on how you look at it). And the distance to the g-spot is even shorter than that.

Perhaps a silly question. When we talk about the length of a penis do we mean when it is erect or flaccid?

I would just like to point out, that the side being measured is not the side women usually see. Or indeed, not the side anyone but the owner of the cock is likely to see. When you look at it from the outside perspective, the base of the erect cock is going to be indistinct. I would think a penis might look one to two inches longer than it measures when measured as @uberbatman suggests.

In any case, when estimating it’s size from the outside, I think that people will think a penis is larger than it measures using the prescribed technique. I don’t know what this means, but I do think it is interesting.

In addition, everyone is on the honor system here. You know. She offered her honor; he honored her offer, and all night long he was on her and off her. I think that might have an effect on the validity of the data and the accuracy of the measurements. I can’t say whether I think this would tend to bias the numbers up or down.
