When was the last time you used a payphone?

When I went to a work fancy-dress night, I went as superman…i’m deadly serious!

I didn’t get a cell phone til around 2005, so around there.

@ucme You mean to tell me you found a working BT payphone? Pshaw!

A couple of days ago. I own a land line, but give no one the number, and I don’t own a mobile phone. If I want to make a call I go to a payphone or call center. If anyone wants to find me, they can knock on my door and see if I answer it or not.

Probably 2003–2004. I got a cell phone when I started driving.

Probably since GW was running for his first term.

Japan in 1996.

A few months ago. Phone had run out of minutes and I had to get in touch with my husband. Can’t remember what the heck for.

Ten years ago.

@Hawaii_Jake I forgot to say when it was, must have been ten or so years ago & yeah it was working, not that I needed it to be as I was simply in there changing…couldn’t resist.

Middle school (2004)—there was a payphone at the front of the school and I used it to call my mom once, in the days before most kids that age had cell phones. :)

I used a payphone a few months ago when my cell phone was not working.
