Home remedies for hair,skin etc.?

Asked by HodaMNabil (59points) January 10th, 2013

Ok, hello guys! So I was just asking if you guys know anything to help my hair become the way it was, my hair was like the Asians(I am not, I am American ) my hair now is bushy, wavy and got a lot of split ends.I tryed to the egg and lemon (1 egg and 1 lemon) and it worked for my hair then it stopped working, so any ideas!? Note that I am currently in Egypt (don’t ask why) .

As for my skin,* I am allergic to something in the body lotion so no suggestions containing body lotion* I tried almost everything egg whites and olive oil, honey and lemon, lemon and sugar, olive oil and honey, honey and lemon and olive oil, chocolate, melted honey and green tea-nothing works and if it works just for one day and that’s it. So any help? Also I got black circles under my eyes so I want to get rid of those to I tried the cucumber thing and the potato but no luck.

Thanks! And if I wasn’t clear enough just send me a message!

Egypt! The land of henna!

If your hair is already dark, try a henna treatment! It will give you lovely red shimmers and condition your hair beautifully. If you have light hair, it will dye your hair (look at my avatar: I’m a natural blonde.)

Trying a whole lot of different things once will do you little good. It’s good habits that help.

Can you purchase Vo5 conditioner. It has always worked for years for my sisters hair and it is always dry.
You may also want to cover your hair when out during the day. The hot sun will chew it up and spit it out.
Don’t over wash your hair. It really isn’t necessary to wash your hair so often. Just be sure to brush and rinse it out.
Boar style brushes cause more split ends.
Condition at night and wrap your hair up by pinning it in a circular pattern on your head and wear a silk scarf over it.
Vo5 my family uses is the original.

As for your eyes. Are you getting enough sleep or eating well? Are you in the sun too often or wear glasses that may be enhancing the rays of the sun around your eyes?
In the meantime just be sure to wear plenty of sunblock (that works for hair too) and when you wash your face do not over exfoliate. Simply wash with a glycerin type soap and rinse well. Take plenty of vitamin C and E. Get plenty of rest.
Gently apply facial lotion before bed and in the morning when you get up.

Use ¼ teaspoon of baking soda and water for your skin. It works!

Only shampoo when needed and condition using moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, avoiding any products with silicone in them because that is very damaging to the hair. Also do not brush your hair while wet, instead use a leave in conditioner and wide tooth comb and gently comb starting at ends. Three times a week saturate and massage coconut oil (the thick more solid kind not pure oil liquid) into scalp and hair paying particular attention to the ends of your hair. Wash it out the next morning, it may take two times but coconut oil is one of the few things that can penetrate your hair and repair or from the inside out. Vitamin supplements are very important for healthy hair. Take these up to three times daily: folic acid, biotin, keratin, and fish oil. Always use a heat protectant before blow drying or thermal styling and avoid putting it up in a tight band to reduce breakage. If you follow these steps you will see a significant change fairly quickly. Also a good thing to do is wear your hair in a satin bonnet at night while you sleep. You can buy them at your local beauty supply store for cheap
