Have you ever bought something from an infomercial?

No.

NEVER but more and more, I am seeing products I do buy on infomercials, HSN, QFC, etc. I even saw one of my favorite products companies, Kiehls, selling at Target (from Nordstroms to Target…wow). I guess everyone is trying to make a buck, even the well established companies.

My family bought a Banjo Minnow set of fishing lures, which were kind of a waste. They were great at catching fish, but such a pain to set up that we gave up on them.

We also bought a nice set of tupperware containers. All sizes featured the same sized lid so you don’t have to fiddle with matching lids to containers anymore, and they’re all dishwasher and microwave safe. The company was featuring one of those “buy one, get one FREE!” deals, so I got a whole set to myself. They were a good purchase.

I haven’t, but my roommate bought me the Perfect Push-up. I just couldn’t believe he actually bought something off of tv.

I bought a Magic Bullet. I actually purchased it from Costco, but this infomercial had been played ad nauseum. By the way, I love the Magic Bullet.

I bought a Magic Bullet at Walgreens and a Jack LaLanne Power Juicer at Target. We like both of them a lot.

I had Muzzy when I was a little kid!

Guilty twice; a hose that wasn’t supposed to kink up (it didn’t but neither did water flow thru it) and a gadget that whipped cold skim milk into some kind of whipped creamish substance. Money down the drain in both cases.

No, I wouldn’t want to encourage them.
