What is your main goal or wish in life?
Speaking for myself, honestly, it’s to be able to write creatively for a living, get it published, and further be able to influence others in a positive manner through my works like literature has done for me in the past. It gives me so much joy knowing that I help others through their daily lives.
What’s yours?
Again, thank you very much for giving me a very valuable information.

I want to make a difference in the world…
Heh, just kidding. My goal is to be happy and successful.
How selfish am I? :)
I want to be a healer. All my life I wanted to be first of all a Doctor, then a Psychologist. I went right through to my majors. But alas it was not to be. I am old now, so have let go of that dream. So I want to study Tantra and bring sexual healing to many people who need it.
To be in a position to spend as much time possible with my husband and sons.
Lately, my main goal in life is to stop myself from committing suicide. You would think that should be easy but trust me, it isn’t.
Maximize my self-awareness and personal accountability. Love myself deeply and be open-hearted to others around me. I do my best everyday to bring a smile to those that I encounter and leave a positive trail behind me.
To be a teacher, and write at least one sweet book.
@bookish1 : I wish you luck and much light as well as a happy time with whatever you do.
I’ve given up notions of making the world a better place – at least on a global scale. I satisfy that drive by doing whatever I can to help others, especially older people, who so often seem lost in today’s society and for whom I have developed an almost painful empathy. After I retire, I will have and use more time to do that. Beyond that, my main goal is to remain as young-thinking and open-minded as possible, and to age with as much health and dignity as possible.
I want to be able to maintain a calm mind no matter what is happening around me. I want to be a jedi ;-)
I want to make peace with this crazy life!
After living in a disabled body for over eight years, I have really lost touch with my sense of purpose in the world. My focus is mainly on immediate family members.
@Shippy What’s so funny? I’m serious. That’s the most important thing to me in life.
I hope you achieve that goal @Wunday.
I don’t really have a ‘main’ goal or wish in life. I have many small goals I want to achieve but the only thing I really hope for is to be a good parent and live to see my children settled and happy. If I do that, I will be happy.
I already have everything I ever wanted, so I guess my main goal is to not lose it.
A small island on a deserted lake.
@Ron_C I wish you every success in that endeavour, and I’m sure I’m not the only one.
