No, I didn’t think you sounded high pitched. You sound perfectly normal to me. I am guessing/assuming that you might be under age 20 from the tone of your voice. I know me and most of my female cousins have a slightly deeper tone of voice now that we are middle aged.
You have a fine voice that isn’t unusually high.
Normal voice, not high.
You do sound young, about 14–16 maybe?
It sounds normal. Soothing actually.
I’m not sure, I thought it was going to be a video of you singing. Your voice sounds normal when talking.
I’d say you have a medium pitched voice. It sounds pleasant enough. You could be proud of the sound of your voice. I don’t know why you’d think it sounded high—not that high is bad.
The real question is, why do you want to know? I hope you aren’t feeling self conscious about your voice, because you sound totally normal. Are you wanting to know because you plan to sing or act in a play?
Hopefully no mean people made an off-handed comment to you that made you feel self conscious, because you sound completely normal : )
I want to try out for a play but everytime i talk I feel like i have a high voice.
You have a nice voice, and trust me, I know a b it about voices. Go try out for that play!!! One tiny suggestion. Speak a bit more slowly when recording.
You should definitely try out for the play!!! Your voice is completely normal. And now I’m having a Glee moment. You MUST try out for the play. I would never have had the confidence to do anything like that when I was in high school, but I always went to the school plays and thought all of the actors were fantastic. Give it a go. And don’t forget, all of us are virtually standing right behind you saying, “You go girl!”
Any idea what the play is?
Sorry to keep going on and on, but when I was in 10th grade, our school’s play was George M. (Cohan) and the star of the play, a 12th grader, I thought was the dreamiest fellow I’d ever seen. I have the feeling, now, that he was probably gay (another problem I’ve had to deal with, multiple times in my life, those boys are just so cute and sooooooo nice and understanding and friendly) and then the next year our school did Oliver which was also fabulous! I just really enjoyed all of our school plays and developed crushes on whomever was in them. You must try out!
If there had’ve been a real life Kurt Hummel (from Glee) at my school, I would’ve done him instantly!
I think you have a lovely voice.
