@bkcunningham How mysterious…you don’t say where the cruise is going to…No matter. Have a great time!
I am going to Aruba, Curacao and a private island in the Bahamas owned by the cruise line. Thank you, @Earthgirl.
@bkcunningham That sounds fantastic. I hope you take lots of pics. Curacao, I think, has very charming houses and architecture. I have never been anywhere in the Caribbean but Paradise Island. I’d love to go! Maybe next year…..
Do you like the things that life is showing you?
To hell if I don’t change my ways….. least that’s what I’ve been told : )
@Yeahright Do you realize that is a phrase from an old Diana Ross song, Mahogany?
I just realized…of course you do.
@Earthgirl Of course silly! That’s the reference… The song was the first thing to that came to mind when I saw this question. I literally heard the song in my head :)
@Yeahright Well, it’s true I should have seen that, lol. The thing I remember most from that movie was the famous line “Success means nothing if you have no one to share it with!!”
Way to go! Discourage women from having careers they will end up lonely, drug-addicted losers! Rich and anorexic!
That movie has special meaning for me since Diana plays a fashion designer and that is what I wanted to be. The song gives me chills sometimes.
@Earthgirl Me too. I was a teen when I saw the movie and the song was so powerful it still has that effect on me.
@Yeahright It’s funny but it always used to come on the radio at critical moments in my life…as if reminding me of my goals and my hopes and my fears…it would make me feel as if I was being sent a message to persevere.
O! What are you doing,
And where are you going?
Your ponies need shoeing!
The River is flowing!
