@ETpro, “bath salts” is how unscrupulous companies market a new synthetic stimulant under the radar. Much the same way that herbs and supplements which are not federally scheduled substances, but still not cleared by the FDA, must be marketed as something “not for human consumption.”

Nope, just plain ‘ol home grown for me thanks. All that other stuff hadn’t been invented (or discovered) in the little town I grew up in.

The bath salts that are designed to be snorted are quite different from the bath salts that are designed to scent your bath (or whatever it is that they do).

As far as I know, there is no “pipe dope” that is designed to get you high.

However, people do smoke oregano on occasion. Since getting high must be at least half placebo effect, I’ll bet a lot of people actually do get high on oregano.

Probably shouldn’t admit this but when there was no pot available (rarely occurred) when I was in HS, we would powder asprin and smoke it with tobacco. Different, more face numbing than mind numbing but would do in a pinch. No pipe dope however. Did try glue once (contact cement). Too f*@kin’ weird. Never did it again.

@bookish1 Yeah, they keep tweaking the formula by one chemical bond or another. Who cares what long-term effects the crap has. If it doesn’t instantly kill the lab rats, then there are fools big enough to buy it.
