Can you use bad words on fluther?

Just the other day I saw some bad words on fluther and I sed hay that’s a bit odd, I would think that fluther get rid of these sorts of comments. Do they?

Depends. And what you saw was probably written by me. I have a huge “potty” mouth.
“You are a fucking idiot.” Will probably get deleted.
“That is a fucked up situation.” Probably won’t.
I don’t know of any rules that say that you can’t use profanity.
No it was somthing to do with getting off a lawn.

@MelonKing: The reason johnpowell’s response got so many points was because it was funny. The word “fuck” helped us imagine a craggly old geezer yelling at kids inappropriately. There’s nothing wrong with that, IMO.

idk, i kinda think giving people great answer for something like that is just dumb. i give GA when it is helpful to the question, because if people actually value comments like “get the fuck off my lawn” this place will just turn into a forum site. no offense meant to anyone or to johnpowell because he does have valuable answers most of the time
It was a stupid question that couldn’t be answered. It was totally subjective and that was why I said what I did. I wouldn’t have said that if someone was asking about the rash on their leg. It was bullshit from the start so I just added to the pile.

I thought it was a good question, if anything. And I think johnpowell’s response is one of the reasons I like going to Fluther. What if there was no humor? Would that make a better Fluther?
It was funny joke, and some people appreciate that, myself included. I didn’t GA it, but that’s neither here nor there.
