General Question

For some reason, my Samsung Galaxy Player is no longer recognized by my computer (PC) when I plug it in. Any advice to rectify this?

I have tried to install drivers from Samsung’s site, but to no avail. I also tried using the Kies software, but it seems confusing and a hassle. I should probably contact Samsung, but I bet that you guys are more accessible and helpful. Thanks!

If all that’s in good shape then it’s back to basics… bad cable? Or bad USB port on the device, or bad USB port on the computer ?
Try plugging the gadget into some other computer and see if it shows up there. Try a different USB cable.
