What's your number one frustration in your life?

Asked by Thibaud (48points) March 4th, 2013

I’m writing an article on not just dealing with life’s difficulties, but making them part of your success. I’m looking for questions to include answer in my article. What questions do you have about how to make your life better?

My frustration as the parent of an autistic young man is how little most people know about autism spectrum.
That Professionals often know less than me because I have more experience and training.

Chronic pain, and chronic shortness of money.

My number one frustration is that I want to travel and do a lot of things, so many things! but I don’t have the money or the free time. I live to pay bills. At least I have weekends free, some people are worse off than me. But I hear that clock tick, tick, ticking….and I know no one lives forever and none of us are guaranteed a long and healthy life.

My lazy heart. (Don’t ask)

Just an observation, @Thibaud: the question you ask in your details is nothing like the question in your subject line. I predict that you’re not going to get much of what you’re looking for without refocusing your question title.

My number one frustration in life is finding out that so many people are dishonest.

Chronic illness.

Not listening to my gut when it is contrary to an opinion my husband has.

I find myself to be my number one frustration. I think at some time most people suffer with frustrations or stresses. But they deal with them more effectively.

I just need one tiny seed to grow a garden of thorns and thistles in my mind.

Right now, my husband’s absentmindedness. He left a container nearly half full of cream out on the counter all night meaning it had to be thrown out.

The greatest frustration in my life derives from limitations on my life and my activities caused by the chronic severe pain resulting from the car crash that disabled me in 2004.

Being young and unemployed. I really wish I started working retail when I was 16. Maybe then I wouldn’t have to deal with the frustration that comes as a result of a bunch of job ads saying things like “Required: 1 year experience”. How can I get this experience if I keep getting rejected for not being good enough because of my lack of experience?

@AnonymousWoman If you don’t catch a break any time soon the best thing to do is apply just before Christmas season. Very early October retail is ramping up and they will hire just about anyone who looks the part. It is a temporary hire, but often they will hold onto you. Also, you need to be seen. If the store just takes on line applications that works against you. Go into a speciality store, many times they will interview you on the spot. Places like Victoria secret hire tons of girls for practically no pay, I don’t know how much money you need to make? Other stores will be better pay. Like an Ann Taylor. Do you know what o say in the interview? The sales jargon? Greet, suggestive selling, open ended question, overcome objections, close the sale, etc.?
