Do people outside of the US use rulers in US Customary and Metric, or just metric?
This may sound a bit silly of me to ask, but it kinda bugs me. Here in the US we use rulers with inches and centimeters on them, and just wondered if they did this overseas, too.
If so, are they in feet (12 in. or about 30.84 cm) or meters/yards?

My tape measure is calibrated in British Units (inches, feet, yards) and Metric units. I have a metre stick similarly calibrated and a ruler around 12” long with both sets of units.
I have a tape measure in metric, one in imperial, and one in both. I have a metric ruler and another in both.
Is it bugging you to have the metric on your rulers, or that the US still uses imperial units?
In Australia they come with just metric or both. I still have trouble thinking in metric so I am glad!
In Japan rulers were all metric. You had to look hard to find one with inches.
In central Europe rulers are all metric.
@glacial Neither, it was bugging me that I didn’t know the answer to this question.
The rulers I have owned have always had both metric and imperial.
In my country, the standard ruler has both cm (metric) and inch units. Both metric and imperial measurements are popular, although metric is gaining an upper hand by the day.
In Singapore, we use metric. But do sometimes use Imperial. Most rulers here have both.
@citizenearth What country? I am just curious to know what country does not use metric as their primary measure besides America that is currently converting over.
In Germany rulers are just metric.
