Obama was interviewed by top anchor Levi today - did the 25 minute interview with an Israeli (just prior to his visit to Israel) make your news?

I can’t find anything about it on any search I do. It isn’t on the White House website either. I know he was interviewed by her yesterday (Wednesday), but there’s no mention on any major news source or White House.gov.

My news is mainly CNN & NY Times. Nope, didn’t see it.

I hadn’t actually followed this story and this is the first time anybody mentioned it, as far as I know. I don’t understand why we have this unquestioning support for Israel. Sure they attempt to be a democracy in the midst of a bat-shit crazy Muslim area but many of their policies only antagonize their neighbors.

There are times that I think that the only solution is to give the Israelis a state that we aren’t using, like North Dakota. We could empty out Israel, dismantle or destroy the “religious” sites and transfer the people and their technologies to the new Israel state. Everybody wins. We get people that are forward looking and mostly sectarian and well educated, Israelis live in peace on land were they’re welcomed and the Muslim fundamentalist can stew in their own juices, isolated from the civilized world.

By the way this means that the ultra-religious fundamentalist Jews have to get a job and stop having children and living off the public dole.

He does interviews all the time that don’t make the news, get over it.

@ragingloli Just because he doesn’t visit the country doesn’t make him an antisemite. And so what if he is Muslim? Just cause his father was Muslim, doesn’t make Obama a Muslim. You choose your religion. But even if he was – it’s a beautiful religion.
