If a easier simpler social media site came along, would you leave facebook and all your friends?

What isn’t simple about Facebook?
And I thought another social networking site was already giving Facebook a run for its money. Twitter.
There’s always something better around the corner, so before long Facebook will be obsolete. Just ask Tom over at MySpace.
Only if all my friends and relatives left. I have to keep up with them.
@livelaughlove21 Tom is now on Facebook.
If I found another social site I liked and decided to participate in, I don’t see why I would have to leave Facebook. I’d just do both sites.
I don’t think I would delete my Facebook account ever. Whether I will use another more often is different. I use tumblr and Instagram significantly more than Facebook but that doesn’t mean I’m going to leave Facebook.
As long as people I know and care about are using a social site, I’ll continue to use it. I have FaceBook and Google+, since there are folks I know who use one or the other. I also use Instagram, GeoClique and Share. The last two are communities borne of other social sites from when the iPhone first came out. Both of those closed, and now there are new sites run by members of those first communities, so I am friendly with the people running those sites. I started Instagram when those two were gone, and made new friends there, so now I stay there, too. It’s a bit overwhelming, so I’m not likely to start using any new social sites
I don’t like facebook. I left all my friends and closed my account…and joined twitter. lol. Much more simple. And now I am not a slave to all the ad ons oh the horrible ad ons..and now I have time to decorate a real christmas tree!
Yes, I certainly would. I like Google+ better but no one I know really uses it. I only remain on Facebook because that is where all my people are.
I left Myspace because I got bored of it and found Facebook to be better, who’s to say that another site won’t some day interest me more and cause me to neglect Facebook?!
Yes. If it did not exist or ceased to exist I would somehow go on. I am at the stage that @Leanne1986 mentioned; I am neglecting FB.
I don’t have to leave Facebook to join any other social networking site. So why would I delete my Facebook account. I’ll continue to use Facebook as long as my friends and family are there and if I find some other interesting site I’ll use that as well.
If everyone I know and love went to another site, I’d follow. It’s not about the site itself…it’s keeping up my connections with the people on the site that matters. When G+ came out, I considered switching to it, but most of ‘my people’ stayed with FB, so I did, too. I have a G+ account, but never use it.
