It's a beautiful day. Because...?

It’s a beautiful day, because I’m leaving for my final week of job training in the morning.

Life is good because I tried a new recipe and it worked and was yummy!

I went to a baby shower and while it was fun was grateful I wasn’t in the hot seat.

It was a warm day and the sun was out and I even though I was busy I enjoyed it.

Tried a new hairdresser and liked the bob I got and genuinely enjoyed chatting with her.

Was able to plan little kind surprises for 6 people who I happen to hold dear and am excited to see them unfold.

It’s a beautiful day because…

Today is the one month mark of my quitting smoking. It feels good.

Just signed a lease and got my my own place on Friday. I have been living in attics and basement for the last ten years.

@Plucky Congrats! It gets easier and it gets better! Your blood pressure should be about back to normal, and your house will be smelling better!

It’s a good day because I am up and ready for a big week at work, and things are moving along at home!

It is a good day because it is a chance to learn something new. So much to learn and so little time.

Oh sure, it was minus 12 degees C this morning and my s/o is pissed at me. It couldn’t be better.

It is spring break so it is the first day of a week I get to spend with my wonderful husband!

I think I am going to be able to regain a friend I thought I’d lost.

I finally got a good nights sleep last night and I am in my new house on top of a mountain waking up to an incredible view.

Life’s good because I have a place to live, my daughter’s happy and thriving, we have what we need, there’s positivity around me and I feel stronger everyday :)

It is a beautiful day because I woke up, and so did my girls. No matter what happens, we are alive, well and together.

I am not finding much good right now, even though it is there. I have 10 days left in my house of 7 years, before moving to a new and challenging situation and I am still facing euthanizing my 15 year old goose on Friday, because I have not been able to find him a quality home.
I am comforting myself with the fact that I have given him a great life, but if a miracle does not occur in the next 4 days I will be having a very sad day Friday, holding my little goose-dog when the vet comes for the appointment of doom and then I will be burying him down the hill with the other old pets that have gone before him. :-(

I will get through this hard time but I had hoped I could hang out here on my property until he passed away from old age.

It’s a beautiful day because I am currently busy at work whihc means I am not getting bored!

…because we are expecting snow only on Tues., Wed., and Thurs., and the temperature will be up to 34˚.

… I am happy due to no reason.

I am happy because of the light on the bay, the love of my good little cat, the existence of the corned beef and cabbage i cooked last night for friends who couldn’t come but will be eaten tonight by another friend who can, and the prospect of a new client I’m about to begin working with. Plus my hair looks great.

Because I had a wonderful weekend followed by plenty of sleep. Bliss.

I had a shitty attitude this morning. I’m better today.

@zenzen I finally handed in my final assignment for the course I am taking. Fingers crossed for an awesome mark but just having handed it in makes me feel much better!!!

It’s been snowing thick for a couple of days now here in Sweden, in the south Stockholm archipelago, and it’s still making a slow dance outside my window. The snow mobiles are still buzzing the ice between the shores of the islands of the Baltic sea, I am soon ready with rebuilding the kitchen at my café on the island, and this year I’ll make NY style street pizza just like I learned how to make ‘em when I was down West Sussex, England last month. That chef serves what made Guiness book of records “the worlds hottest pizza”. I ate it, threw up all night, and it burned when I peed. Things are good.

Because I discovered Lindsey Stirling and really enjoyed her CD during my commute yesterday.

Today has not been easy but I found out some news that might just make tomorrow beautiful. I don’t want to tempt fate so I will come back tomorrow to report back!

Because. against alll odds, Marwyn and Sonoma have found a lovely, new verdant paradise, marred only by @Coloma‘s absence. Luckily, she is close enough to visit.

Their story had my heart in my mouth for days.

@Coloma The goose has a new home??? That has made my day! I’ve been worried sick so now I can smile plus it’s my beautiful daughter’s 14th birthday and I am blessed by her presence and love.

I got a wonderful gift from a lovely jelly friend in the mail today. I wasn’t expecting it at all, and it made me cry like a baby. Thanks, jelly friend!

Because I just got a photo of Marwyn and Sonoma in their new home, lounging around in their individual, custom swimming pools. They look happy and relaxed. The grass in the background is green and lush enough to look like Ireland.

Plus, it is 30˚ and not snowing. There is a glimpse of something that I remember as blue sky and sunshine in the distance.

I did not feel anxious for any more than an hour this morning. I always feel anxious for at least an hour after waking up (sometimes it continues throughout the day) but it subsided very quickly and stayed away! Fingers crossed tomorrow is the same.

It’s beautiful because I’m in North Carolina and enjoying Southern hospitality. I sure have missed it!!!
