I took to right-clicking links and choosing “open in a new window” for a while. It seemed to work faster for some reason.

It is reeeeally slow, but it seems to be getting better now.

It does seem slow, but I have not been as active lately with everything I have going on.
Figures, today is a day of relative rest for me and the parking lot is empty. lol

Whew, it’s not just me. I’m hemming up some new pants today, and get about 5 stitches everytime I hit the enter key.

I just logged on and found that one of our servers is down. I’ve notified the big guy, so I hope to have it fixed soon. Sorry for the frustration!

Yes, I found it very slow yesterday. It took a long time to answer and edit. I figured Server Squid was somehow responsible.

It’s still slow at times today. I could get my chisel and some slate and respond faster.

Be grateful and remind yourself of the days of dial-up.

Some things I have been doing in the interstices;

Emptied litter box.
Filed nails
Answered emails.
Wrote an old-fashioned condolence card.

Called my server about their crappy equipment that shuts off all the time after dark when it is cold and wet…which it has been for three weeks. I must recycle my modem four times a night.

Yep, still slow, maybe it’s a time warp.
My mechanics computers whacked out the other day and when he printed my receipt the date came out as 1–3-2002! lol
Damn, I know I haven’t gone that long between oil changes. haha

I think it’s a result of an attempt by Alternate Fluther to gain control of our reality.

I just listened to all of Long Train Running while waiting on one PM to go. I think Auggie is messing with us for all our modded comments.

I just stumbled upon something. When sending an answer if you double click on the answer button it seems to send it a lot faster.

Thank goodness for tabbed browsing. I can hit send and switch to another site while I am waiting…..waiting….waiting….

It’s 3:25 central and its still a PITA. Thought it was my end because there were other sites draggin ass too. So glad to know I’m not imagining things, right now
