Salted Nut Roll?
Have you ever had the candy bar Pearson’s Salted Nut Roll?
- If not, why not?
– If so, when do you typically buy one?
What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Pearson’s Salted Nut Roll?

Welcome to fluther, and no, I’ve never even heard of them. But this was a perfect question on a morning when I’m not very up. :) I’m behaving or I’d give you another answer.
My mother absolutely loves those and is about to turn 88. I have brought her ones from all over. I myself have never been a fan.
They are fantastic, and have a lot of protein in them for a candy bar…
Is Pearson’s paying you to do market research?
Where do you find them? I’ve never noticed them but I rarely buy candy bars.
No they aren’t – I’m just a student working on a project :)
Well, welcome to Fluther @Daisy2800. I don’t go out looking for them, but I grabbed a bunch from a discount Christmas candy bin a few months ago, and remembered how much I like them.
The first thing that comes to mind when I think of them is…. Peanuts!
This Q reminds me of the Scheddy Balls segment on SNL with Alec Baldwin.
@jca Or Schlitz Gay with Adam Sandler and Chris Farley.
My spelling was wrong: It’s “Schweddy Balls!” LOL!
Nah, it’s just these shorts i’m wearing.
LOVE THEM!!! I don’t eat a lot of candy, but they are one of my faves.
I live about an hour’s drive away from the Pearson’s headquarters. It’s a big deal around here. I have a salted nut roll maybe twice a month as a little pick me up before work. Good stuff!
Where I grew up Long Island, we used to eat PayDay candy bars by Hollywood. I can still taste the salt. Yum!
I’ve had exactly one in my life, and fairly recently. I picked it up on a whim. It was quite good! I love salty/sweet and crunchy/creamy combinations, and this candy hits on all of those points.
Just because of this question, I got one this weekend and it was good. :)
