What is this word?
Drawing a blank here.
This word starts with a “C” and describes the phenomon that happens when something absorbant is put next to liquid, the liquid then travels up the object.

Crap. As in I know exactly what you mean but I’m drawing a complete blank too.
Crap – An anoying turd that floats in the bottom of your toilet and after 100000 flushes its still there.
Um,no @adirondackwannabe, that isn’t it.
Capillary action here.
…the ability of a liquid to flow in narrow spaces without the assistance of, and in opposition to external forces like gravity. The effect can be seen in the drawing up of liquids between the hairs of a paint-brush, in a thin tube, in porous materials such as paper…”
It all started innocously enough by a simple conversation hours ago. I said “condensation” instead and knew it was wrong. But the person didn’t notice so hours have elapsed with the word condesation tattooing around the emptiness of my head.
Wow what a relief. Thank you!
(tattooing around the emptiness of my head?)
I am certain at this point my head is hollow and “the word” is a physical thing reverberating inside the circumference of the thing.
But it could be an illusion.
@gondawalon Impressive but no it is capillary. As I actually know that word and didn’t have to look it up.
Coalescence was a shot too.
Yes admittedly melodramatic. But not boring or overused.

Lol. That’s one hell of a warrior.
