How can I get my six packs back?

Asked by Eggie (5926points) March 26th, 2013

Im 27 years old and I have developed a paunch that has me really uncomfortable. I am trying to run along the beach that I live close to everyday but I am not able to make 3 full laps of continuous running. I stopped drinking sodas, and I cut down on the amount of fried food. I am asking if it is really possible to get my six pack abs and if anyone could give me a specific diet plan, that would be really helpful.

What you need to do is tone your abdominal muscles with crunches and other exercises.

P90X
Do it to the letter, including the diet program, and the six pack will return.
I was never in bad shape, but I let down after I separated from the service. I did P90X and got a six pack and I am 6’4” and tall guys don’t get a six pack. I did.
Do it.

Without sinking a boatload of cash in this or that fitness craze, you can search Google and YouTube for abs exercises and how to get a well-defined six pack and find a ton of methods, all of which will work if you religiously do them. Couple that with the fact that even the most costly diet/supplement/workout plans for sale are useless of you don’t religiously hold to them, and you figure where you;d best put your hard-earned funds.

Good luck, and post pix when you get that perfect bod you’re chasing.

Most everyone has a six pack, it is just buried under a layer of fat. Cut back on your caloric intake (many smart phone apps have calorie counters). And do more exercises directed at ab development along with your running. We all have great bodies, but in some they are hidden better than others.

You need to burn off the fat that sits above the muscles to get that ripped look. Diet and exercise. Boring, but sadly it works. Check out Jim Karras and his plan, worked for me.
