I personally have 3 home pages, I think I’ll delete at least 2 pages, how about you? Which ones will you keep?

I think i will delete all of them except for Fluther and Digg.
check out http://digg.com is a site where people post news and topics from all over the internet. If you have heard of reddit its similar. Digg has been around for awhile. Its a cool site. I got into it because of the podcast from one of the creators. on iTunes check out the podcast Diggnation. Its pretty fun, watch like 2 episodes and you’ll be hooked.
I’m not sure you understand what is happening.
Web apps are web pages formatted for the iPhone. Fluther is an example of this. Don’t expect any change when the app store opens.
The app store will provide native apps written in objective C and Xcode. These will for the most part be apps that don’t look like a web page. Most won’t even require access to the Internet.
99% of the web apps you use will not be rewritten. Because they don’t need too be.
Of course they will!!!!
Why have a web app when you could download a native app to do the same thing.
maybe they won’t because web apps are actually a really cool idea for everything except games and things that need super fast acces (without the need for an internet connection)... Heaps of web apps will stay because a majority of native apps will use the Internet for their content or to facilitate
communication anyway…
Web apps will totally be staying as well and I’m glad for that in some ways. Just because we now have the option to have third party software it doesn’t mean the Internet as we know it on the iPhone right now will cease to exist. If this was the case why do we still use web sites on PC and mac.
I know its a fairly loose comparison but you get my point
I’ll only stop using my web apps that are replaced by free native apps.
