My distance vision is still great but now I have a weird problem. You know those signs up high between grocery store aisles that say what is stocked on the shelves? Such as, “canned fruit” ? The letters are still sharp as ever but they seem to quiver. They seem to be moving slightly. I have an appointment with an eye doctor so that doesn’t have to be brought up but I wondered if anyone has simply ever heard of such an ailment?

I have refrained from mentioning this before, but many of the symptoms you describe fit those of brain tumors. Two members of my family had them, both benign luckily, but they did require serious surgery.
Acoustic neuroma
Meningioma
My best friends’ brother died from a benign brain tumor. The following year , she died when the cancer went to her brain.
