How did you feel days after your colonoscopy and how long did the feeling last?

Fine. Normal. No sign of euphoria that I noticed.

I was normal the next day. I don’t remember whether or not I skipped my normal “once per day” routine.

I slept it off that day, and then was completely unaffected.

I was back at work 20 minutes after my colonoscopy so I felt pretty muck like I do every other day of the week.

I felt fine immediately after and silly that I had to have someone drive me the 4 blocks to my home. I had at least 3 colonoscopies and that’s how it was each time. And my doctor always sent me photos of my squeaky clean pink colon. I was tempted to have them made into Christmas cards, add sequins to decorate them and send them to friends. However, I refrained after further thought.

They didn’t put me all the way under, just enough to be woozy. I wanted it that way.

And I felt great 4 hours later. Bowel function was normal inside of 24 hours.

I felt fine the day after.
