Why does Chrome freeze on me when I search for specific subjects?

I know this will probably sound odd, but I have noticed that for a while, the Google Chrome tab that I am on will freeze if I search anything related to Islam. This has been happening for about 1–2 months, and I tested this out today. I typed in ‘Islam’ and the tab froze. I closed it, opened a new tab, and typed in ‘Christianity’ and search results instantly popped up. Same with ‘Judaism’ and ‘Buddhism,’ instant search results. I kept trying this out, and it would freeze whenever I searched things like ‘Qaddafi,’ “Gaddafi,’ ‘Libya,’ ‘Bin Laden,’ (something interesting was that search results came up for ‘Bin Laden dead,’ but then the tab froze when I deleted the word ‘dead’) ‘Quran,’ and it also froze when I tried listening to a Palestinian song that was on YouTube. I am not constantly searching these terms, but I have noticed that it freezes the few times that I have. Testing this out today confirmed it. Has anyone else heard of this happening/have had this happen to them? What could be causing these strange occurrences? I have never had this happen before. Is there a way to fix this?

1. Clear your browser’s cache and cookies

2. Go through all the advanced troubleshooting techniques for clearing malware from your computer.
