I don't think I'm over her. Help?

Asked by bboy (101points) April 21st, 2013

So basically there was this girl and she was my first kiss. We hung out every weekend, it was great. I moved unexpectedly and we have no contact at all. I keep thinking I like girls at school but my head goes back to her, so I don’t really know. I get really sad thinking what could have been and feel wrong for leaving her. This may just be me venting but if anyone has any ideas about why this happens and why I can’t get over her, I would appreciate it. Thanks,
bboy

I’m 29 and I still sometimes think about my first love. I’m long since over him, but the memories there are still good ones.

But that was 15 years ago. It will pass with time, and new loves. Promise.

It’s fairly simple. You may struggle to get over her until you reconnect and find out if there is a future in this relationship. All you have to do is reach out to her through the internet. Surely you both have Facebook and/or e-mail accounts.-

I was once in a situation like yours. It wasn’t until I reconnected with the guy (long before the internet) that I realized that, yes, he was great, but just as a friend and not a life partner.

Good luck in finding her. Let us know how it turns out.

Find her on facebook and see what’s new. It may help you both.

Thanks to all, these have been great suggestions. Ive also gotten some advice from friends and am starting to get over her. I could can not find her anywhere and I take this as a sign its time to move on. So to all, thanks again, hope I can get over her soon and move on with my life :) thanks again.
