What do you think became of Luke Skywalkers hand when it landed on the bottom of Cloud City and other questions (details inside)?

Asked by talljasperman (21919points) April 24th, 2013

My guess is that it landed on the ground next to a science colony’s researcher’s lab and cloned a new Jedi Master. Or at least it was crushed by the atmosphere.
Also If the rebellion won could Luke just get a cloned hand seeing cloning technology existed…instead of the mechanical hand that was damaged on the Jaba the Huts sail barge.

Almost finally couldn’t the cloning technology be used on Darth Vader so he doesn’t have to wear the plastic suit, and restore the force lightning….
Can the Lord of the Sith not afford limb cloning?

Luke’s hand was recovered and used by a clone of C’baoth to create the clone Luuke Skywalker. The problem with clones are that they are often very unstable and go quite crazy as well as having a shortened lifespan. This is all covered in the Thrawn Trilogy.

As per the other part about cloning limbs, I don’t recall ever hearing of limbs being cloned in to replace lost limbs. It’s always some form of prosthetic. Not really sure why.

Luke’s hand went through a time portal, and ended up in feudal Japan. It is this hand that the dog is carrying in the early moments of Yojimbo.

Shouldn’t Vader have checked his brother’s house first, when he was looking for his lost kids?

How did the Jedi philosophy become “that long lost religion” less than 20 years after it held place as a major political power?

Why the hell do we have to keep seeing more CGI’d animals with every “remastered” DVD release?
