Are you finding it difficult to adjust to Houston as an A.L. team?

How did they decide Houston should be in the AL? That’s nuts.

I visited Cooperstown when I was a kid, and Paul and I went a few years ago for Cal Ripken’s induction.

Otsego Lake is so beautiful; no wonder James Fenimore Cooper called it “Glimmerglass.” And, the village looks like something from a postcard.

@ SadieMartinPaul Wow, you made it for Cal’s induction? They had 75,000 people in a village of 2500. That was wild. I love the village. It is a post card. I’d take you to the Farmer’s Museum, the Fenimore Art Museum, the Tunnicliff Inn, the Farmer’s Market (believe me it’s worth it) Fly Creek Cider Mill, just for starters.

I’m finding it harder to readjust to the Red Sox being a very competitive team. After the past couple of years, they seemed to belong in the Double-A leagues.

I went to the Red Sox – Astros game tonight and there was some talk about it amongst fans. No one seemed to care too much though, as we were kicking their tail.

@cookieman Wow! I’m envious. That game certainly had nicer weather than the previous night. And, oh yeah, it wasn’t a 13–0 debacle.

I am an Oakland A’s fan, and we swept both series played this year against the Astros, so I would say I am not finding it difficult to adjust.

I am also a Raider fan, win or lose. I do a lot more of the latter.
