Australians: How do I get a fluorescent globe that isn't dull and green?

I just moved back home. I am in shock about the energy rates, my house is provided with fluorescent globes that provide a very dim, greenish light. What can I buy that will be warmer and brighter? ( when I was told of a friend’s energy bill, honestly I had to sit down)
