Is it the “preview”? That’s always been there.

It has always been there on the full site. It is not there on the mobile site.

Oh then I am crazy.

It hasn’t “always been there”. When I started on this site in late 2009, the feature did not exist, nor did the capability to edit our responses. Both features have been added (separately) since then.

Really? I don’t remember not having the preview on the desktop. I do remember discussing the restrictions around post and comment editing.

Curious… I’ve never had a preview below the box while editing. Most of my perfecto-fish awards come from trying to guess the correct spelling of other jellies’ names.

Edit: I basically posted this response so I could play around with it. I think I’m wrong, in that the box was there, but the preview just did not show @ names in red.

@glacial Sometimes the @ is funny and when you go to edit, the list doesn’t always show up.

OMG!? This site has a meta section? Hehe yea, it has always been there, this site seems to have the habit of hiding things. I still sometimes notice details that I had not at first.

The chat room took me quite a while to find too, maybe a clue in that as to why it tends to sit empty hehe.

There are other lesser known features.
When you are typing in preview, we all can see you in your shorts and tank top.
