“Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee” and “Cheyenne Autumn” are two that leap to mind. And there are others on this IMDb list.
Dances With Wolves would be my first response.
Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee was a great book, though I haven’t seen the movie.
Little Big Man is also an amusing take on the American Indian redefined.
Great Bear McMountain and Wide River O’Daffodill’s Wild Adventure.
A thrilling tale about a Scotsman and Irisman who become part of an ancient native American tribe.
There’s a little known but wonderful film called “The Education of Little Tree”. .

It shows how they systematically try to strip them of their Indian heritage, language and culture so they could fit in better.
But, you’ll love the ending. It’s a beautiful film.
If you want late 20th century modern, you might try Smoke Signals It’s about two Spokane Indian teenagers who go on a road trip to pick up the ashes of his estranged father. You can watch it on Netflix streaming.
I hope you’re not implying that Apocalypto was accurate to the Maya in any way…
