If someone ran into you with one of those motorized shopping carts would you be out of line to tip them over and leave them on their side.
A woman came right at my s/o today and was going to run right into her. I have no idea why. She had room to go around. Would I have been out of line to take her out?

Was she elderly? If so, perhaps her vision and/or reflexes ain’t what they used to be. Cut the lady some slack. You’ll be there someday.
Now, if she admits to doing it on purpose — bury the bitch.
My mom tried to use one once at Walmart. She could not control it. She knocked over a display and almost hit a person. She was very embarrassed. Try to put yourself in their place and either forgive or understand that they don’t always know what they are doing.
I’d say yes! However perhaps she couldn’t see elderly or not. So I’d say rather not. (Or was drunk, drugged, on crack or some prescription medication. Who can say?).
Okay, I just regained my moral compass. God I was so bad.
On the other hand I always had the urge to play bumper cars in walmart.
Maybe they needed some humor in their life?
I drove one while drinking at Epcot once. I purposely tried to run over people just for kicks. Bored. ~
While I was mending from a foot injury, I had to use one of those things. It took me a while to get the hang of controlling it, not just the speed but the forward and reverse, and I did take out part of an end-aisle display (luckily nothing breakable).
I didn’t run into anyone, but if I had, you can be sure I would have apologized very promptly and earnestly, with great embarrassment. You would not have been left in any doubt that it was an accident and that I regretted it.
Would you have felt good about knocking me over and leaving me unable to get up?
I’d say yes. In fact, I’m pretty sure doing that could get you arrested. Although if the person didn’t need the scooter and just ran into people for the fuck of it, then I’d get all medieval up in their asses.
Is it wrong that this question is cracking me up? Especially the mental image I now have of @bkcunningham drunk driving on a cart and mowing people down!
Exactly we aren’t unaware of the damage but can see the humor of it. Is it like laughing at someone when they get hurt? What mechanism does this. Is it necessarily bad?
You know the answer to this.
How am I going to be an axxhole when you guys hold me up to a high standard? Thanks guys. I just had a day full of annoying people and needed to blow off some steam.
Damn high standards. Humph.
I disagree @Symbeline every person is an asshole or has capacity to be failure to recognize or acknowledge the anger leads to imbalances.
@rosehips Well thanks for considering me an asshole. I thought an axxhole was bad enough. I’m going over in the corner to sulk while my cart recharges and then I’m coming after your ass. Sleep with one eye open. :)
Lol. While you sleep I am going to be reading about how to soup up my battery..
This thread made me laugh.
LOL. Well then I have to set up booby traps of displays. Jalepeno Cheetos, Double stuffed oreos, piles of mangoes made to topple if the wrong on is pulled. Tennis balls and ping pong balls rolling in the aisles.
@Symbeline: Your glorious train will be your folly!!! Ah hah ah
I live in town which is lovingly called God’s waiting ground as it attracts a lot of retirees. In this place 4 wheel walkers and scooters rule and pedestrians better watch out!!
