Can anyone help me regarding a Rohos mini?
Ok. I haven’t a clue about these things. If the rohos mini is password protected, is it that simple to just delete the programme and thats it, its gone?

What program would you be deleting?
I think that security is built into the USB controller (firmware) and makes it act like a secure drive. I don’t think you can delete it. You might be able to turn it off, or give it a NULL/empty password, but I don’t think you can delete it.
Sorry, its not really a program. It is just something that is on the stick. I deleted it, but I find it hard to believe it is gone just like that. I never put the password in to go into the document. I just deleted it. Surely thats not right?
Ah, I read a little more about that and find my initial assumption is incorrect. That’s not built into the USB controller (there are some SUB drives like that with security built into the controller). This is a program that lets you carve out some of the space on a thumb drive as a secured partition.
You’d have to run it first to configure/define that partition with its password before anything would be protected.
It does not seem likely you could get around a secured partition and encryption by just deleting something.
What you deleted might be the Rohos program itself that would let you make that secured partition.
So if I’m acting dumb, so, does that mean the document I deleted is still there somewhere?
If you’re lucky it might still be in the trashcan.
If not there are recovery programs (29.95$) that can recover “erased” files.
Because “erased” files are actually just unlinked from the directory, if you haven’t written anything over that same spot, a recovery program may be able to chain your file back together.
