Sunday’s tend to be quieter than other days. Fridays seem to have the most action, which kind of makes it seem like us Jellies prefer to stay in, rather than go out on Friday nights.
A lot of longtime members have left in the last couple of months for a variety of reasons, some of those folks were our most vocal members.
Unfortunately due to some Google classification (which maybe Augustlan or some of the other more knowledgeable members could explain) Fluther doesn’t show up on the first page of Google searches, even though our topics should (and used to) generate a lot of traffic, due to the placement of our presence in the Google results. We used to pick up a lot more new users that way too.
Weekends and Spring tend to slow down the activity.
It has been a little slow lately. Everyone is probably outside (like me).
Like @Adirondackwannabe said, springtime (and waiting for the ice to break) tends to keep people from Fluthering as much, and instead maybe they’re doing This
Hope some of you remember Northern Exposure.
Sometimes you just gotta go find the action. If you click on ‘Social’ (or ‘General’) then click on active it’s easier to find that way.
Also, gets really quiet around dinner time.
@Kardamom I once read a statistic of the number of Fluther users and the busiest day was actually Monday. The numbers decreased as the week went on. I’ll try to find the link, it’s buried somewhere on a post on a question on this site.
@dxs Hmmm, that is interesting. Yeah, see if you can find the link. I’ve just noticed that Friday nights seem to always be hopping on Fluther : )
Maybe because of the cheap/awesome thrills
It’s always dinnertime somewhere.
