Could it be that the Celtics, simply put, are just the better team?
Despite all of the blow jobs that Kobe gets, he is still an supremely talented player. But the Celts are injured and their team has proven to be tougher and more resilient than the Lakers. Could it be that within all of the BS the media seems to put out there, that we simply say the Celtics (barring a collapse) are the better team?!

better team…yes. but as far as you guys having better players no. i so thought the lakers were gonna win it in 5 but kobe let me down and so did gasol…..and ray allen has been doing an amazing offensive job.
next year the knicks will be the same way.
@jamzzy – you think the Lakers have better players? Please do explain…
look at the match ups. lets say that they were all put in a 1 on 1 situation. for me the Lakers would have the upper hand. the only player that intimidates them really is KG hes a monster. but the celtics just have more chemistry and somehow get the open look a lot more….which pisses me off.. i end up screaming “WHY IS HE OPEN!” every game.
Remember me, born and raised in Los Angeles, an eternal L.A. Laker fan who predicted the Lakers in 5 or 6 games? Well, as much as I hate to admit it, I think you are correct. Several Celts have stepped up their games and they are collectively playing better ball, so yes, they are the superior team thus far in the finals. I believe the Lakers have better proven talent and greater potential, but its hard to take potential to the bank. I give credit, as due, to the Celtics. (sigh)
and im not Celtic bashing either, although i dont see how the Lakers are losing…Way to go Celtics…way to bring a championship to the east…..miami didnt count.
The media only harped on this Lakers team being better because they are from L.A. and have the most overrated coach in history… If I had had alot of money on my hands when this series started, I would have been alot richer today, because I would have bet it all on Boston… Kobe is the best player in the NBA (Lebron might be better), but he’s no match for the Big 3…
