When you've been away from Fluther, even for a short time, in what ways does it feel different, if at all?

I took a hiatus of a few months and a bunch of new users had come and were very established when I came back. That felt a little weird.

I’ve taken breaks here and there, but not very long ones, so I never really see major changes.

I had to become very inactive during my last quarter of school, and now that I I’m on break I’m having a little trouble getting back into the swing of things! Mostly I am just no longer in the habit of taking the time to answer questions because that still feels like a guilty pleasure at this point. Need to get into the summer mindset!

I guess @Mariah got closest to my own experience, no biggie, but it does feel a little weird…just a touch.

The only real changes I’ve noticed in coming back after my breaks from Fluther is that there are fewer and fewer new regular users. I am always surprised if I am away for a while and I return and still know pretty much who all of you are.

Quality trumps quantity.

The solution, @ucme and @Mariah, is to not go away for any stretch of time. :~)
