Our frig has two veggie bins with different settings. What goes where?
We have a newish frig in our new house with High Humidity and Low Humidity veggie bins. We’ve never had that before.
Which things go where?

Foods that wilt should be in high humidity. Spinach, herbs, lettuce.
Fruits that getty moldy fast like strawberries should be low humidity.
Basically, the low humidity setting allows the air to escape out of the drawer and into the rest of the fridge (unless that has changed) so fruits and veg that emit a lot of gases should go in the low humidity so that gases that rot foods are not trapped.
Hopefully someone else has more extensive information, and a better list of fruits and vegetable recommendations. I’m sure I keep some produce in the wrong drawers.
Well, if it’s my fridge we’re talking about, soda and/or water goes in the left bin and beer goes in the right bin. ;)
@augustlan Our fridges appear to have the same settings. :)
Oh how cool!!! I want one!! My fridge is on top of my freezer (as in attached) and all the veg and salad gets frozen at the moment – in the fridge!! because the freezer desperately needs defrosting!! (At least I think that’s why!!) @augustlan priceless!! xxx
I’m pretty sure that you are asking about the operational characteristics of your refrigerator rather than anything concerning the colloquial verb “to frig” which typically has some sexual connotation related to self-stimulation.
I am certain that a search for the owners manual for your particular model of appliance will offer suggestions of how best to use these two drawers. As an alternative searches for “low humidity compartment” and refrigerator will lead you to links that will supply appropriate answers.
I tend to keep leafy vegetables in the higher humidity compartments and fruits and vegetables prone to mould (mold) in the low humidity drawer. I hope this is helpful.
If I’m remembering correctly, both of our bins have adjustable humidity slider thingies. I never knew what the purpose of that was until this question, so thanks for asking it. Seriously, though, we do use our bins for beverages. Any fresh produce doesn’t last long in our house, so it’s never much mattered where in the fridge it gets put. :)
