Curious what shows other TV viewers like to watch these days.
I’ll be posting another question on what TV shows, cancelled early on, that people miss.
I think I’m an average TV person. My partner, though, could sit for hours on end watching TV shows. She watches most of the ones I do and then way more.
The current shows I never miss are:
Mike and Molly
2 Broke Girls
Defiance
Criminal Minds
Law and Order: SVU
Wife Swap
The Middle
The New Normal
The Neighbors
The Big Bang Theory
Grimm
Once Upon a Time
The Walking Dead
I also watch several shows on the nature and cartoon channels… at random usually. Oh, and the 11pm news (if my partner has it on).

Mad Men (although some episodes aren’t very good)
The Big C (although it becomes increasingly painful to watch)
The Newsroom
Fraiser reruns
Elementary (Yet another updating of Sherlock Holmes—excellent)
Big Bang in Theory
Grey’s Anatomy (although the show annoys me sometimes)
Two and Half Men
The View
Katie
Dancing with the Stars (fast forwarding half the show)
Person of Interest
Blue Bloods
Nashville
The Americans
Revenge
Mike and Molly
Person of Interest
Elementary
Once Upon a Time
Game of Thrones
True Blood
Boardwalk Empire
Vikings
Duck Dynasty
Just about everything I watch is on DVD… but the current ones I’m following are The Following, Vikings, and Grey’s Anatomy.
My television consumption is at an all-time low. I currently only watch Mike & Molly and Glee. Aside from that, just random Food Network (Chopped, Cupcake Wars) and HGTV (Love It or List It) shows.
Game of Thrones
New Girl
Girls
Dexter
I’ll watch Arrested Development once it’s in swing again.
I don’t watch tv shows, sports & movies are my bag, right now…this actual moment, i’m watching the Giro d’Italia…it’s a bike race :D
no doubt for the muscular sweaty men
Mad Men and the old Twin Peaks series.
talkin bout ya mama again
Castle
Hawaii Five-O
Body of Proof
CSI
Chicago Fire
Grey’s Anatomy
Person of Interest
Elementary’
Dateline
I only manage to find time to watch TV when I’m home from school, so I can’t get away with watching shows that require you to see every episode. The ones I enjoy when I can are:
The Office
Parks and Recreation
Bones
Big Bang Theory
The Mindy Project
30 Rock
(I like my comedies, what can I say?)
I only watch a few regularly, but I’d still rather read or clean or be outside.
Big Bang Theory
Modern Family
Survivor/ Big Brother (Survivor in winter, Big Bro in summer)
History Channel
Animal Planet (mainly my dog watches this and I watch her watching it, hilarious)
Various news channels/ financials
Judge Judy
Old episodes of Lost in Space.
I’ve just finished the final episode ever of House M.D and I. am. quite. simply. crushed.

But apart from that;
Dexter
Grey’s Anatomy
Desperate Housewives… We’re a bit behind in the UK but I’m more behind than most as I don’t have Sky or a decent Freeview planner… ho hum! :-) Still happy x
other TV networks are available
The Chase
Emmerdale
Coronation Street
Mr and Mrs
but have to watch all the sports including what @ucme is watching
@Headhurts Wiggins fell off in the rain…hope he’s okay for tomorrow’s time trial.
@ucme thanks, I will let him know
Oh, I also watch The Talk. I loved Game of Thrones too but we no longer get that channel in our package.
I’ve seen a few of The Mindy Project and it was funny; I keep forgetting to watch it.
I’ll take a good old movie over any TV series anytime. ;-)
Game of Thrones
Sons of Anarchy
Mad Men
House of Cards – just finished the original British version and about to start the new one with Kevin Spacey
Revenge
The West Wing while I exercise.
Thinking… Call the Midwife.
I record things so I still have the last series of Homeland to watch and a few other things.
@Bellatrix How did House of Cards age? I haven’t seen it since it first aired.
@glacial I loved it! Francis Urquhart was so brilliant. “Well you might very well think that. But I could not comment”. I suspect I’ll watch it again. I can’t wait to see how the US version stacks up. I heard a great review of it the other day.
While watching it I kept wondering if the Australian politicians weren’t modelling themselves on the programme. I had a distinct sense of déjà vu. I love politics though. I find it fascinating. I think I said here once ‘showbiz for ugly people’ and it is so true!
We have Sandwichgate here at the moment ..
@Bellatrix I’ll have to give it a second look. I loved it the first time around.
I’m in a bit of a TV show rut at the moment! Many of the shows that I used to watch have either ended/been canceled or have simply lost my interest. I’m looking for a few new things to watch this summer, so I’ll definitely be considering some of the shows on these lists! I hear Hannibal and Bates Motel are great, so I’ll likely start watching those (crossing my fingers that they aren’t canceled), and I’d like to find some more comedies to replace the ones I used to watch. So if anybody has any suggestions based on what I already watch, let me know!
At the moment, the shows I keep up with/watch regularly are…
Law and Order: SVU
New Girl
Anderson (Anderson Cooper’s talk show)
Project Runway
Pretty Little Liars
Chelsea Lately
HGTV’s Design Star
Various Food Network competition shows and other HGTV shows
I watch Ellen Degeneres once in awhile too. Lately, when I’m exercising.
Oh, and you can add The Daily Show, the Colbert Report, and Tosh.0 to that list.
Downton Abbey
Sherlock
Elementary
The Big Bang Theory
Glee
NCIS
Happily Divorced
Body of Proof
Call The Midwife
Two Broke Girls
Mike and Molly
How I Met Your Mother
House Hunters
Love it or Leave It
Diner’s Drive-ins and Dives
Re-runs of The Nanny
The NBA Playoffs. I don’t watch TV much.
Big Bang Theory
Breaking Bad (on DVD)
The Daily Show
I was watching Body of Proof, but according this, it’s been cancelled. :-(
Hopefully, some network that doesn’t have its head caught in its own gluteal clench will pick it up.
I’m also following Big Bong Theory, Suppernatural, Lawn Odor- SUV, and Jefferdy.
