Is this really a 40th anniversary or a First Annual Music festival?

For 39 years, Sacramento has hosted a jazz festival, but this year everything has changed. Would you still call it a 40th anniversary?

I am sure a good case can be made for both sides of the issue. I would probably retain the name. I go to We Fest in Detroit Lakes, MN on a regular basis, and the event has changed drastically over the years, yet it is still We Fest.
The Old Sacramento Dixieland Jazz Jubilee has evolved over the years. The musical acts have been of mixed genres for some time now. So the name change has been long overdue, IMO. There is still a lot of jazz being played and it is still being sponsored by the Sacramento Traditional Jazz Society. So it’s all good.
@AstroChuck I was reading a post from a disgruntled former volunteer who said they threw out all the old people and started with a new bunch. I didn’t realize it was still sponsored by the STJS.
