Cool. So that’s how the Russians land on earth.
@Adirondackwannabe I have to watch it because the Bruins just tied it up against my Leaf’s. I can’t handle it. ;)
@Mama_Cakes Don’t hate me. I was routing for Boston. Two goals in a minute 22 seconds? I’ll pull for the Leafs in OT. I don’t really care who wins. I was a Sabre fan til they canned Lindy.
I’ll go for the Senators. Only other Canadian team. lol
Well you did better than we did. . Not Detroit or the Rangers. Maybe the Senators would be okay.
Back to your original post. I always wondered how they landed on earth. The jet blasts as they settle is pretty wild.
They’ve sighted it and we now have live view. Touchdown ~10 minutes.
Got it. Come home safe guys.
Did that hit hard? That dust cloud didn’t look good. Or was that the jets?
@Adirondackwannabe If you watch the video @josie posted (and you really should, btw, it’s freaking awesome!), at the end it does appear that it hits hard.
They just said “soft landing”. Guess looks are deceiving!
Good. The jet’s would throw up a lot of dust. That’s what’s deceiving. Amazing..
Now I just want to know that they’re okay.
Can’t wait for “Major Tom” to come out. If I wasn’t already married, I’d want to marry him!
Why is the woman wiping their hands?
I was wondering that, too. The one guy (the American, I think?) seems to have black stuff on his fingers.
The whole space station came down? Or just the vehicle they use to go back and forth. Because I didn’t think that place was meant to come back in one piece.
I overheard someone say something in English about a cut on the hands while she was wiping the American’s hands. I didn’t see anyone else’s hands being wiped. We had to get to sleep, so we shut down when it showed them talking on the phone.
