Where can I get a daft punk helmet for riding my bicycle?
I want a bike helmet that is approved, and looks similar to the daft punk full glass visor helmet. I need one. I want to protect my face, keep out the wind, and dust, and keep the sun out of my eyes. Do they make this?
If I have a closed in mask will I suffocate riding my bike? General suggestions are welcomed.

Ohh I don’t know, but that is a kick ass idea!
I believe there is a video on YouTube that shows how to make them.
God gave me all of the ideas. and NONE of the capital!
heh awesome question, I’m listening to their new album right now.
Couldn’t find any bicycle helmets, but there are daft punk motorcycle helmets available. If they are approved for motorcycle use, they should be good for bicycles. Check online or go to a motor sports shop near you, if they don’t have them in stock they can probably order one for you. Bonus of going to a shop is they can size it for you.
Here’s one for you on Engadget Only a year lead time, $65,000 and will requires Daft Pink’s approval ! ! !
i just want to note, that, this question is not about daft punk, the more glassy helmet just happens to look like what I think I want, a coincidence, a really cool coincidence
In fact if someone has a similar solution…i’d be interested in that too…
This is about protecting my grill from a faceplant, not about INSPIRED music/ UBERCOOL performance art
They are some cool looking helmets but $65000 is a bit much plus royalties! Besides that I would feel claustrophobic. I wear a helmet that is combination dirt bike/road helmet, it is full face but I can still breathe in it. I would check out that style, protection, coolness, breathability and all for a lot less than 65,000!
@rooeytoo I want to avoid a motor bike helmet if I can. My life is just too short to make EVERYTHING I need.
That’s a badass idea.
Would that make a very safe helmet, though? That’s a lot of glass… right around your face…
@Fyrius of course you would use something shatter resistant. Like motorcycle helmet lens material.
@cheebdragon – that’s a great idea. If you’re going to wear a helmet to protect your head, you might as well protect your teeth too!
