What should I cook for 4 adults and 2 little kids in 90 degrees?

Well, it won’t be 90 indoors but what I mean is so many casseroles are for winter. Beef stew is strictly winter; beef curry I love but nobody else does; spaghetti seems too cheap, hamburgers too “expected.” I’m considering buying a large crockpot, putting ribs in it then he can stick them on the grill . Suggestions?
