My MIL has a picture of her holding his hand. She used it as the picture on her Christmas card that year.

@Judi _ Wow. My best-friend met him in India. That’s probably as close as I’ll ever get.

She gave a lot of money to Ronald McDonald House at Stanford and was invited to a reception when he visited.

@Judi @serenityNOW Some friends visited him in India, they too sent Christmas cards of the Lama holding my friend, who was recovering from an intense radiation treatment for liver cancer. They both said it was a transcendental experience.

@zenvelo, my mom had liver cancer. Did your friend survive? I have never known a liver cancer survivor.

@Judi He had been given less than three months, but tried an experimental radiation somewhere in New York, and then went to India. He lived another five years.
