Something out of the ordinary/weird/unusual that you saw/heard/witnessed recently. Could be either some real life event or just something you saw on the tellybox/internet.

We were driving down a back road in Florida this week and saw this directly in front of us in the sky. It was so close, you could see the pilot. It would swoop down and over the tree line and back up again out of sight. It was the first time I’ve seen one.
My ex-wife was actually pleasant to me on the phone when we had to talk about a week ago.
I saw a silver SLS AMG roadster on my way to work.
@bkcunningham Those look like a fight broke out between a light aircraft & a helicopter…not sure who won even.
@ucme
The military industrial complex
Okay. Something that trumped my Osprey sigting. I just realized that @ragingloli has a job. ~
I saw a GoogleMaps car the other day—it was otherworldly!
I was teaching a dog training class a few weeks ago and a lady and her dog turned up about 15 mins late. Her excuse, “I’m so sorry, the traffic was at a standstill as there was an Emu on the road!” Not sure where the Emu came from but I do live quite close to Longleat Safari park so maybe it escaped from there!!!
@Leanne1986 Longleat…lucky you, closest place similar to that for me is Flamingoland, that place looks stunning though, never been.
@ucme I live about a mile away and, when I first moved in to my flat, my boyfriend put my postcode into the sat nav and it took him to the back entrance of longleat. I think he thought I’d moved in with the monkeys!!!
Ha, maybe you have a sunburnt bum like a baboon…scratch that, not your bum :D
This happened yesterday it is sick and disgusting.
And
Yesterday was world turtle day! I love turtles! As a kid I was affectionately named myrtle the turtle. Today I find out that indigenous columbians actually eat endangered turtles. Im not a happy camper. :/
I saw a urinal that was in a stall the other day. That was quite peculiar. I took a picture of it if you want to see it.
@nofurbelowsbatgirl My kindergarten class had a pet turtle named Myrtle the Turtle. He’s probably still alive.
@bkcunningham any Fallout player worth their salt will tell you it’s the first step towards creating vertibird technology…
@nofurbelowsbatgirl it’s sad, and disgusting at the same time, what happened to the soldier – the bandits should be made to clean the baracks’ toilets day in, day out, for the rest of their lives!
I walked in the bedroom last week to find my wife folding laundry. I felt her forehead.
A few months ago I saw a large flock of turkeys walking down our street. This is a very common occurrence in some parts of town, but they don’t usually stray so far from the creek area, about two blocks from my house. My neighbors tell me they see deer over there several times a year, and there was a report of a cougar about 2 miles upstream last year.
@dxs great name for a turtle! :)
@fremen_warrior I do agree. I wish I had it in me to be ok with handing out a worse punishment but violence obviously doesn’t cure violence. I mean these two fools who commited the act accomplished not much but basically now wasting 3 lives all because of violence. But inmates cleaning toilets…hmm sounds like it could work. I suppose it wouldn’t be so much of a waste of lives then no pun intended…it would mean my HIV infected bff may not have to clean them anymore for his much needed extra income to pay for his drugs and as I keep worrying about him getting some illness because of it, let the inmates get sick.
Today I saw a man taking his pants off on the side of the road….
@AshLeigh He should join the lady I saw last week peeing on the side of the road, they’d make a great couple. :/
A horse and buggy in the Walmart parking lot.
oh a few days ago I saw a woman jacking off a dog on the sidewalk (no joke)... the horror…
Saw a kid peeing in the parking lot today. His mother just stood there like it was normal…
@AshLeigh I see that almost every day. The worst is when it’s the parking lot of where I live. With a mom nearby that’s kind of odd, though.
