As I understand it, at 2 years old, a child is considered to be half of their adult height. She will be about 6 feet tall.
Nope, not at all “tall”. Above average is about it. It’s the 61st percentile for a 2½ yr old girl.
My son was wearing size 4 when he was two. He wore size 8 when he was 4. He was huge.
He’s now about 6’ 2”
But the terrible two’s with the tantrums were epic. Because I developed back problems trying to carry him, I learned to make him walk rather than carrying him. I got pretty good at it too.
My daughter is just about that tall and she’s 2½. She’s 36 or 37 inches tall. She’s was in the 70th percentile for height when she was 2 and I don’t know what she is now.
My daughter is just over 2½ and is 36 tall. At her 2 year checkup she was about average.
@snowberry, I’m pretty sure my daughter won’t be 6 feet tall however… no women in my or my husband’s family are that tall.
