I was just looking at some silver rings on Amazon and then became curious if other Jellies ever purchased jewelry online.
Where did you get it from and were you satisfied?

No, I like to get up close & personal with jewellery, see it & touch it “in the flesh” so to speak, that way you get what you pay for.
I bought this ring for $13 on Amazon. Yes, it’s real silver, yes, it’s gorgeous, and yes, it is accurate to size. I’m wearing it now, actually, since my wedding ring doesn’t fit anymore.
Costume only. Be sure to read plenty of reviews – they’re very helpful.
Yes, I’ve purchased jewelry from Overstock and really liked it.
I’ve bought a few pairs of earrings from the catalog site called Museum of Jewelry, from which I also ordered a few times back when it came as a paper catalog. One of my favorite pairs of earrings came from there. It was in the $50–60 range.
If I were purchasing something expensive, though, I wouldn’t. I’ve been amazed to see $3000 items in a catalog. Who would buy diamonds that way?
Etsy is a fun place to look around, but I’ve gotten mixed results. Something can look good online, but not be quite as it seemed IRL. Popularity and high ratings don’t mean much, either—I’ve gotten shoddy stuff from “popular” vendors and lovely, quality things from lower-profile folks.
Online is a great way to discover some amazing and unusual things, but I really do prefer being able to see and touch before buying.
