Help with moving Counties?

Asked by Headhurts (4505points) June 3rd, 2013

We are moving to another County in 2 years time. I am just worried about not having a job. What the recession is still how it is and it takes me a while to get something. I will be moving in the hope of finding something within 6 months. Any advice on what to do? How to be appealing in my CV? I’m sure they would rather employ the locals..

I would not suggest moving at all unless you have a marketable skill (medical professional or financial experience). Apply for jobs from your current home.

I haven’t seen any indication that employers prefer to hire locals except in menial, low paying jobs. Here in the U. S. there is a severe lack of construction workers, and they are free to move about the country for work.

Moving in new place is very difficult specially when you don’t have any job. Also, its depends on the country. I suggest you, first confirm all laws of that country, also find about country location, expenditure which will definitely helps you.
