To make a long story short, I bought 2 packs of 300 ear buds each for just £1 but turns out they’re not that good, so I bought another box of ear buds which I prefer.
Now I’ve got 600 ear buds and I don’t know what to do with them.
Give me some cool ideas, experiments, you name it!
Go!

You could use the bad box for touching up make up errors.
Soak the tips in gasoline or kerosene.

Donate them to a local non-profit that has computers? Or a school if they’re sealed? Or a hospital?
Are you talking about these (little cotton-tipped sticks) or these (tiny headphones called “ear buds”)?
Crochet they together into a decorative lattice in a shape that might serve some interesting purpose such as insulated pot-holders. Please understand that this would be used to pick up and move hot casseroles not bunches of marijuana!
Donate them to a kindergarden class so they can use them in art projects.
@Jeruba: Good point. Maybe “ear buds” is British English for…. Q tips. When I first read the post, I thought OP meant ear plugs.
@bookish1 Ohhhhh, Qtips/ cotton swabs? They’re not even safe, throw them away.
They are great for craft projects. See if a pre-school near you wants them.

Put them on ebay, someone is bound to bid on them!
I agree with those above who suggested using them for cleaning. I’ve used them on my stove, washing machine, and other places I can’t think of right now.
Also, make-up mistakes, make-up removal, and nail polish mistakes.
