I’m embarking on a new phase in my life in the coming months. I’ve had an interesting few years where I’ve learned many lessons, the hard way. For instance,I’ve noticed that I’ve a habit of befriending needy people who demand a lot of time and attention, among other things.
Some wise owl’s gave me some sound advice about avoiding such people, reaching my full potential, enjoying life, etc, and it made me wonder about what your lifeisms might be?

Mine is you can’t change the world but you can try to make your own little corner of it better.

Slow down and enjoy the moment. Everyone is in such a rush to get from one place to another. It’s sad.
Spend time with the people you love and let them know how much they mean to you. You might not get another tomorrow with them.
@jonsblond , you remind me of the time hubby and I were in a restaurant in Italy. The waiter said to us, “you’re in Italy now. SLOW DOWN.”

@jonsblond / @Judi sounds like Belize for me. First couple days there I heard a lot of “take your time” relax slow down enjoy life, no reason to rush from one place to another.
The way to happiness is quite clear. Practically invisible.
Throughout life people will make you mad, disrespect you and treat you bad. Let God deal with the things they do, cause hate in your heart will consume you too.
