What is your favorite photo-sharing site, and why?

I’m looking for sites for sharing photos with friends, clients, colleagues, etc. Would like web sites where you could leave the photos up there indefinitely. All else being equal, would prefer sites that are free. Also all else being equal, would prefer sites that won’t crop or compress the photos. If I have to pay for this latter requirement, well, so be it.

Professional photographers whom I know seem to like flickr because they don’t have We-Own-Whatever-You-Post terms of use.
I’m not sure of photobuckets policies but it is a great site.
I love imgur. I rarely upload anything for any sort of long term use so imgur works perfectly. Uploads in a couple seconds and give me a link to post here or wherever else I’m sharing it.
I’m pretty sure if you register at imgur you can have photos up indefinitely but I’ve personally never looked into it.
I’ve used Flickr in the past, but my new favorite photo sharing App is called “Days” by Wander. Unfortunately, it’s only on the iPhone so far.. I hope they hurry and come out w/ a Droid version so my sister can join in.
If you just need a place to host a picture, so that you can link to it in a Fluther post, for example, imgur is easy and fast.
For sharing and receiving comments on your photos, I second third? fourth? Flickr.
I’ve used Flickr and found it a bit confusing on how things are laid out and presented. I haven’t tried it out much since the new re-vamp, though. I had a similar issue with 500px and they have a limit to how much you can upload per day if you’re not paying for the service.
Generally, everything I photograph ends up on Facebook and Google+.
I use Flickr. I also have a SmugMug account. They are both similar in terms of ease of use.
I use Google’s Picasa Web Albums because the desktop program is so great.

Other than being iPhone friendly, what other advantages have you found with Days as compared to Flickr which prompted you to switch.
Also, can I assume that one can post directly from your iPhone’s camera roll without any further fiddling around ?
EDIT: Ok I just went over to the App Store to check it out and it says no import from camera roll. So, how the heck are you supposed to get your pics on their. Their talking about how convenient it is but if I have to haul out my laptop just to load the photos into it and then into Days, that doesn’t sound all that convenient to me?
Am I missing something here?
Thank you all for your responses! Looks like Flickr is a big favorite here. Up to now I’ve only used Google Picasa.
Are there any photo size limitations at your recommended sites? Are these limitations always spelled out in the Terms of Use?
@Buttonstc – it’s meant for mobile devices and it’s like a mashup of Instagram/Facebook—but more private. Every picture you take via the app goes into your camera roll so you can sync/save/share that way, too (e.g. upload all the dropbox)..but the benefit (to my thinking) is the private sharing with time stamp. It’s like a journal of your day that you share just with the small closed group of people that you want to share with.
I travel a lot..so this is how my kids/hubby see the sights from wherever I am for work, and I can see their days back home…its a super easy-to-use photo journal.
I’m on flickr right now, but I am planning to move to 500px as soon as possible. The interface of the new flickr doesn’t fit me… the only thing keeping me on there is that I follow a lot of awesome people on flickr.
@2davidc8 flickr right now has a max capacity of ONE FREAKING TERABYTE, which is great and all (you’ll probably never use all of it). 500px has a 20 photos per week max upload limit for the free account, and in all honesty, you’d probably never upload that much if you’re trying to showcase your best work (like I do).
