Oh, sorry to hear that. Cry, but know your kitten is probably now out of any pain. How did it pass on?

Aw. That’s sad. This kitten will always be part of you. Keep it safe in your heart. And when you’re ready for it. Share your love with another kitten who needs your love.

@zenvelo He passed away because of a parasite he had caught while running around outside in the yard.

I am so, so sorry. I’m going through this now, too and the death of a pet is devastating. I’ve found that nothing really heals my heartache and overwhelming sense of loss. The relationship with a pet is so incredibly special, that when it’s gone, it can be hard to find comfort. My neighbor shared a quote with me that I found very beautiful.

I loved my friend
He went away from me
There’s nothing more to say
The poem ends
Soft as it began
I loved my friend

-Langston Hughes

The grief comes in waves and I just let them come, I work with them and then try to keep my daily activities as normal as I can. I wish I had better advice or something to make you feel better, but just know that your kitten knew it was loved in the short time it had here on earth.

I am so sorry to hear this. My darling cat died five years ago, and I still cry when I think of her. The relationship between a human and a domesticated animal is indeed very special. Your kitten knew he was loved, and he is not suffering any more. {{{{Hugs}}}} if you want them.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Sending you a virtual hug.

I’be never forgotten how I awful I felt, so many years ago, when my cat died, and I dread the day when the one I’ve had for 13 years does (I kinda hope I go before he does).

See if maybe this helps you.

I’m so sorry. I lost two wonderful dogs a few years ago. I keep lots of pictures of them to remind me of the good times. I have a picture of them next to my keyboard at work. I still miss them but I’m so glad for the good memories.

That’s really sad! It was only a kitty?
The first cat my family had had had gotten lost outside one night. Nobody knows what happened to her. She was 11 years old. A few months later, however, a new cat followed me up to the house I live in, and just like that another cat was living with us. Maybe the same will happen to you. Oddly enough, the new cat was the same type of cat—a tiger cat.

Oh, I’m so sorry to hear this. Is it your first? At my age, I have lost so many pets I stopped counting, but it still hurts.

I am so very sorry to hear this.

It is terrible to lose our pet friends. And losing a baby pet has to be just the worst. I know you are hurting and I wish I could hug you.

It’ll get better. Truly. You don’t think it will, but it will.

I may be a dog person but I know cat people love their Kitties as well adore our doggies. They given us so much pleasure and except for proper food, water and Vet care, they demand so little in exchange. There are so many pets in need of a lifelong home. The only cure for our sense of loss is to adopt another cat or dog to love. When you are ready, I hopw you will find the right one for you.

I’m sorry, honey. Remember there are tons more in the shelter’s needing good mama’s and daddy’s to love them, and your baby died being loved, which makes it a lucky and happy kitty. Pass it on to share with others.

Cheer the fuck up.

I will note that when people tell me that, I do!
