Does anyone know how to write a design brief?

Asked by serenityNOW (3643points) June 7th, 2013

I’ve never used a design brief before, but I think it would be prudent to use one on my next project. I’ve found a lot of resources of what consists of a good design brief, but I don’t know how to actually write one. Is it bullet points/lists? I wouldn’t even know the first questions to ask; in other words, a complete newbie to this realm of work. Does anyone have a sample they’d mind sharing? Thanks!

Just did some (not-so) clever Googling and found some decent examples, so if you want to jump in, sure – but if not, I’m good

Yeah I was going to suggest you search for a quick walk through on Google. It’s not too difficult.

Have you tried good ol’ Wikipedia?
Really, you should search a little yourself before asking.

@anartist – Thanks. Very constructive. Having said that, read the answer I posted to my own question. Thank you.
